Our projects in Düsseldorf

EUREF-Campus

Düsseldorf

Sustainability and innovation are the cornerstones of Düsseldorf’s new EUREF-Campus which will act as a real-world laboratory for the research and development of the energy and mobility transition.

The campus will be built in three construction phases by 2026 and offer circa 80,000 sq m of office, co-working and flex, showroom and laboratory space. The building complex will consist of a two-wing main building and a separate mobility hub building. Its distinctive sustainable design includes a net-zero energy supply, photovoltaics, thermally activated building systems and a concept for using lake water from the adjacent quarry pond.

This means that EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf will have already met the German government's 2045 CO2 climate targets by the time it goes into operation.

MIZAL

Düsseldorf

Completed at the end of 2021, the MIZAL office campus in the immediate vicinity of Düsseldorf's Medienhafen, Rhein Tunnel and Stadttor (city gate) sits on Völklinger Strasse, one of the most important arterial routes leading into the city.

An office complex consisting of a high-rise office building, a connecting structure and an office building with a canteen has been created on circa 40,000 sq m gross floor area. The complex meets the highest sustainability targets and has been awarded a DGNB Gold certificate. The flagship property with its striking and modern façade boasts excellent transport links, a location close to the city centre and a campus structure, making it an ideal centre for collaboration and communication.

KÖ1

Düsseldorf

Located in the heart of Düsseldorf, KÖ1 together with KÖ-Bogen I, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and the Steigenberger Parkhotel forms the northern gateway to Königsallee, one of Germany's most famous and attractive shopping boulevards.

The monument-listed office building and department store with circa 60,000 sq m gross floor area is set to be extensively modernised and revitalised. Alongside the creation of new high-quality office and retail space, the focus of the project will be on the preservation of the traditional department store on Corneliusplatz and the sensitive handling of the monument-listed sandstone façade and striking glass roof structure.
