Our client GSG Berlin GmbH is expanding its footprint on the Voltastrasse site in Berlin's Wedding district by adding a further circa 25,000 sq m of office and commercial space.
The building complex encompasses the inner area of an entire street block and will form a visual connection between the mix of historic and new buildings. In addition to a high-rise building with eleven above-ground floors, the project includes two five- to six-storey perimeter block developments, a shed building as a vertical extension of a historic vaulted cellar and an underground car park with circa 38,000 sq m gross floor area. Timber hybrid construction will be the main structural element of all buildings. The revitalisation and development of the historic, monument-listed vaulted cellar place high demands on project management and cost tracking. BOHNZIRLEWAGEN is responsible for the overall budget and cost control, project management and for ensuring integrated contract management.

Alpine Immobilien GmbH holds several properties in the municipality of Schönefeld. The acquisition of further properties will create a coherent campus.
Terminal 5 of BER Airport, which is located in the immediate vicinity, is to be closed for good. This makes it necessary to consider the potential and existing areas of Alpine and other neighboring owners in connection with the planned developments at the airport as a long-term vision for the municipality of Schönefeld.
The aim is to develop a campus concept with a mix of uses and industries directly at SXF Airport, in close cooperation and interface with FBB Berlin Brandenburg Airport. This will create an important future location for Berlin Brandenburg in the long term.

On the site of the old fire station in the historic center of the city of Potsdam, a quarter for the cultural and creative industries (KKW) is being created.
In 2019, an open concept process was held to find the best possible idea for the new creative quarter, which is tailored to the requirements of the cultural and creative industries. The client, GW Kreativquartier GmbH & Co. KG, is planning the new construction of the quarter, consisting of 7 buildings with different cubatures, facades and uses on a site area of 12,000 square meters. The Berlin architectural firm & MICA (formerly Michels Architekten) won the contract to design the architectural details of the area and will oversee the project until it goes into operation. BOHNZIRLEWAGEN is responsible for the technical and commercial representation of the client, including commercial controlling. A particular focus is the alignment of the project with the ESG criteria, for which certification of the quarter according to DGNB is being sought.
